Swinging on a rope like tarzan is an iconic platformer game novelty. If it’s done right, it’s great. If it’s not, it’s super annoying and can even wreck the game. Soul Aim Studio’s takes the fun of swinging on vines and other classic platformer concepts and combines them into this awesome colorful platformer for the Android platform. You can play as either a monkey, a robot (Ninro – a robotic ninja from one of their other games), a tarzan-like dude or a jungle girl. Each has it’s own sounds and abilities. The game is a blast. Fast-moving but forgiving, you always feel in control of your character and there are lots of rewarding explosions and smashes as you make your way through the twisty levels.

Cave Crew takes the classic "vine rope tarzan swing" to all new levels.

Soul Aim already had the music done when they came to me, so all Beatscribe added to this was the sounds and voices. I couldn’t find out who the music was by, but it’s some very good SID-styled stuff. It fits well. I employed some of my favorite voice talent folks in the final result is a super fun game with a lot of character. If you loved games like DKC, you’ll love this retro goodness. Pick it up today!
